        This company gave a certificate saying they had swept the chimney in September before I bought my house. This was a chimney over a gas fire, and was a safety requirement for the sale. Today I had the chimney re-swept by another company prior to a stove installation. The sweep said in his opinion the chimney had not been swept, and the nest was still there. He said this was dangerous for a gas fire as carbon monoxide could have leaked into the room had the nest slipped and blocked the chimney.
