Great venue & they were happy to help that said my issue was having people behind our swims & around the lake shooting the ducks being scared of the lake off the lake the weekend we were fishing this definitely had an impact on the fishing now would I go back that I would have to very carefully consider as paying just short of 200 quid to fish & having people doing a shoot round the lake isn't my idea of carp fishing I'm not saying it's going to be like that for everyone but there's a chance you could be in the same situation yes they were apologetic but it only made a hard lake even harder

Came for a long weekend Friday to Monday 8 family members , very nice lake , toilets and showers excellent, the two sheppards huts were very comfy , no carp were caught , but a nice 5lb tench and a 2lb bream and a couple smaller fish were caught,. You can see plenty of carp in the lake , but they just weren't feeding on the day . Will definatley be back again ,. Highlight of the weekend was when the grass snake fell from the tree on top of rob , never seen him move so fast , ps chickens were a bit pesky .

Stunning looking lake good facility's It was hard going the first night But managed to get a mint 24 pound mirror after moving swims for the second night Would definitely fish there again there was loads of good sized fish cruising around
