I am a regular student who takes the 179 to school in the morning and afternoon and before I was not really pleased with the service given before as few times drivers are early or late at times and sometimes takes more than 10 mins late to show up or they don't at all. The driver behaviour might had been rude at times but had been changed now. These dates shown underneath are the times I was let down by this particular depot: 13-12-19: While returning home, this rude driver did not allow me on without any reason given, he was driving 10180 (SN63JWG). 22-06-21: The 08:05 and 08:30 buses to Ilford ran normally but it left a gap as the bus I take in the morning leaves at 08:17 and there was no bus, LX11BEY left as I arrived and at the bottom of the list of buses on LVF, LX12CZH was in Woodford by the time but the LVF suggested it was leaving at 08:30 in which I presumed was the late bus. Eventually I took another bus by a different operator as there was nothing and I didn't want to wait in the cold for nothing as yet TFL Bus Alerts on Twitter closed down. 14-09-21 & 15-09-31 (updated): 08:17 bus still never showed, other people from another school were concerned about this. 7-10-21: Thought there won't be issues but 09:55 bus was non-existent despite a bus arriving minutes earlier 11-10-21 to 13-10-21: 0817 never came at the time I would get it at, would usually be in Woodford when tracked. 7-12-21: driver did not allow me on despite the bus not full and I also have a valid Zip card as well. 10173 (SN63JVY) 28-01-22 : Why no 07:51 bus, the bus one of the buses arriving (LX11BGE) are said to depart at 08:03 yet leaving another gap in services neither there is a trace that the bus to work 07:51 was arriving at Chingford. EDIT 31-01-22: Okay, I was wrong, BGE left same time as 0751 (noted) 07-03-22 : There is a mother and her two children (one in buggy) usually at Chingford Station taking the 07:39 or 07:51 bus, she was getting on the 07:39 bus and requested the driver to lower the bus down but he refused to do so.. 19839 (LX61DAA) 01-04-22: Why did 0751 not start, is also freezing cold. Driver just sitting in his seat doing nothing. 10172 SN63JVX 06-09-22: 10182 (SN63JWK) which was meant to depart at 0817 left at 0810 as soon as I got to the station 13-10-22: 10172 (SN63JVX) was meant to leave at 08:03 which I assume children from other school take, it is blinded black only and 19774 (LX11BFP) took everyone else and was packed, driver of that bus made announcement that he will get extra money for getting the students late. 15-12-22: Since the weekend, snow hasn't been cleared away 08:30 179 driver was late arriving at that time but he went into the driver lounge and never came back ending in me to get a 397.
