This house needs a LOT of work. The water pressure was poor and showers were freezing. WiFi needs renewing, worked work around 5 minutes without disconnecting. Uneven flooring in the kitchen leading to the kids tripping over and the plaster fell down over the shower in one room. Leaky sinks. Hot tub wasnt checked during our visit despite the owner living next door meaning it couldnt be used other than the first day. Was expecting luxury for the money however it disappointed. That being said the house itself looks fantastic if you arent looking too close and the owners are nice people.

We booked this for Christmas 2019 through Beach Retreats for 15 adults and children. it enjoys a fab location overlooking the bay and the owners made a good effort for us with Christmas tree and decorations in the main house. It should be noted well that only 4 bedrooms are accessible from the the main house- the other 5 are situated in annexes which are only accessible via the outside courtyard which may not suit families with young children. it was described inaccurately as being 'redeveloped for 2019' which, let's be generous, was a wild exaggeration. The main living/kitchen areas were good and well equipped but cleanliness throughout was an issue- eg we found rubbish under a bed and a half-empty coffee cup behind a curtain. Two of the bathrooms in the main house I would describe as very well fitted out and newly appointed. Some of the other en-suite bathrooms were unusable through water damage, lack of heating, broken shower/mould and in one case in the downstairs bedroom, dilapidated and filthy. There we no wardrobes and storage in some of the rooms and those that had furniture, was 1940's vintage and utterly beyond redemption. be warned. The second star is for location and view.
