        We called in whilst on a bike ride around the lovely local area. Breakfast was amazing, the best poached egg on a choice of breads baked on the premises. Washed down with a dry cappuccino. The service was quick, by chatty and helpful staff. Highly recommended if you're in the area, well worth a quick detour from the road. Kids will love the play area too.

        This bakehouse has possibly the best cakes I've ever caked on . The hot drinks keep me warm whilst the little one plays, and they had a grotto last year, my son was happy to meet Mr and Mrs clause. Fab place , highly recommended.

        After reading such positive reviews we made a trip to visit The Bakehouse. Unfortunately we were left disappointed. The seating area was freezing cold, the coffee we ordered seemed small for the cost and the general appearance of the location was fairly untidy and unloved. There was a selection of cakes and pastries on sale which did however look lovely and homemade.

        After a walk across the moss, The Bakehouse can be a welcome stop to warm up and refuel. Lovely coffee and cakes and it's so nice to see that they now do more cooked things like a bacon roll for those of us who don't have a sweet tooth. Well worth a visit.
