Spent a fascinating hour here learning about the collection held from across Derbyshire and Derby city. I was absolutely thrilled to see a potential ascendant of mine with the same name who was employed at Strutt mill in Belper. The class register were fascinating. You dont have to book but allow your self plenty of time for your visit. There is some parking nearby. Its off the really steep main road near county Hall.
