We have just spent 2 nights at this lovely farm staying in their bell tents. We had our stay rearranged by a day due to high winds and Rachel couldn't do enough for us to make sure everything was rearranged. The tents have electric set up and a powerful heater which was gratefully recieved as the weather was typical English weather cold and wet you definitely felt the warmth when entering the tent. The toilet/shower block was very spacious and I loved the fact that they were Individual which you don't find on many sites. The 2nd night we ate in the restaurant and Wow! The steak and ale pie was so tasty my son had the burger and it was one of the best children's homemade burgers. We attended the reptile show, lambing experience and walking a dinosaur which were all great experience that my 5 year old hasn't stopped telling everyone about Also loved the little touches in the field like mud kitchen, play house and book/games cupboard. Finally I would like to thank all the team kirsty and her husband, Rachel, Laura and the other ladies sorry I didn't get there names for their great hospitality. We were made to feel welcome from the start and nothing was ever a problem I don't know where else you can go were your son is talking about lego and they produce a massive box of lego for him to play with. Lovely couple of days What attracted me to this place was its a working farm so animal noises and mud are a must We will definitely be back

The bell tents were lovely and the food and drink were good. Unfortunately I cannot recommend a stay in the bell tents due to the pet hotel not far up the road, there were barking dogs all night, we did get some sleep but barking dogs woke me up in the morning

Starters were ice cold and small portions. Main course Sunday dinner I spent 10 minutes chewing the beef and could not at all. Main was cold as well the only thing that was warm was the gravy and cauliflower cheese. Cups for the tea were used, sticky and covered in marks. Cant really find a good word to say for the place really! Got 10% knocked off the bill when we ate about 1/4 of it.
