The Dales Residential Care Home

The Dales is a friendly place and above all the staff are caring and nothing is to much trouble. It's a clean and safe environment and the food that is prepared in the Dales kitchen is first class and caters to individual needs.

I am still in shock at the care my client received from this home never in all my time caring have I seen anyone been so miss treated our client went here for respite while we her house was being made more accessible for her she came off there mini bus curled up in a ball in agony due to her injurys caused by the Dales care home we phoned for an ambulance as soon as we managed to get her into her lovely renovated home they told use 3 different storys that professionals had been to check our lady over in the end when we told them she is on her way to hospital they admitted she hadnt been looked over she is currently still in hospital after having a operation on a fractured hip and elbow I have never seen bruising like it all over her body and they say they are a brilliant care home . We do have photo graphs off all the bruises this lady came with . they stopped us coming to the home to visit our lady they told us so many lies we have voice recordings of the management verbally abusing us and our lady when visiting they have been awful wouldnt recommend this home to anyone !!!

I was sickened & appalled-to learn that a dear friend of mine-has been cared for by such an incompetent care home. With the medical evidence regarding her injuries to support my disgust,& anger ,this dear lady has been cared for in the most shocking/ neglectful way. I am so grateful that she has such a caring/ loving & extremely diligent care team who raised the alarm and had her taken immediately to hospital to be examined and to have all her injuries recorded, immediately after she was taken home by members of the care home. I was led to believe I could visit anytime, and that I could take her out .not the case!! I was made to feel most unwelcome by the manager, his wife and staff. You should hang your heads in shame for what this lady has been put through, you seriously damage the excellent reputation of the care profession. Thankfully its all in the hands of the appropriate authorities now!!!!!!!!!!!
