Had issues with this pharmacy for a while now. The prescription has to be ordered, giving them a week to get it into the pharmacy (it is controlled medication) and then a call needs to be done to confirm it is ready to be picked up. They always say it is but when we get there, they do not seem to find it and tell us to come back the next day. So they either lie to us on the phone or give the medication for someone else, which is impossible, considering it is not kept there and has to be ordered in with a name attached. This happens nearly every month (at least 4 times in a row now). Sometimes it is not ready the next day either. Today we have been trying to call them for confirmation for 3 hours now but the line is either busy or they hang up. Sadly, due to the nature of medication, switching to another pharmacy may not be possible. I saw a review from a year ago about lack of communication between the health services and the pharmacy and it seems this has not changed.

They encourage you to order repeat prescriptions online (handy for busy people, but means that you can't collect them at any other pharmacy). But they are closed all weekend which is useless for anyone with a full time job. The whole place seems to be geared towards catering for the long term unemployed. There also seems to be very poor communication between the pharmacy and the doctors surgery (even though they are in the same building and only about ten feet apart). It is handy that the pharmacy is there, but they really could do much better to provide a better service to people who cannot afford to spend half the day waiting around.
