Fantastic experience! The whole process from assessment and diagnosis, and throughout treatment, made me feel understood and helped me easily understand why my problems first emerged and what kept them going. After this I was guided through a range of methods to manage and sometimes prevent the fear and anxiety I was going through. The improvements I had were phenomonal and my quality of life has transformed. I would highly recommend treatment from Equanimity Psychological Services.

My experience with equanimity psychological services has been very enlightening. For many years I did not realise I was suffering from depression. I received a thorough assessment and told I had a form of depression called dysthymia (mild persistent depression). My therapist helped me to understand why I was feeling this way in a very user friendly way. We eventually moved on to look at my way of thinking and soon realised how negative my thoughts about myself are. I realised I had been very critical of myself and after several weeks I began to develop a much nicer attitude to myself. Since changing my views, I have never felt better! I've managed to move on with my life and form very satisfying relationships.
