I have (or should I now say *had*) suffered from Acid reflux on a daily basis since 2005. Now in 2023 Mr Boyle, his talented team, and the miraculous LINX device, appear to have cured me of this tedious condition - early days still post-op, but so far so great. I could not recommend RefluxUK more highly. Thank you so much Mr Boyle and team!

Having suffered from reflux from an early age, I was keen to explore the possibility of surgery and not spend the rest of my life on PPI's. Mr. Boyle and his team at Reflux UK were so supportive throughout the consultations, tests, and toupet fundoplication surgery. Guidance and advice was given every step of the way. Post surgery I am now completely off the PPI's and have even reintroduced some elements in my diet I could not tolerate pre surgery. If you are like me and have suffered with reflux for years, I strongly recommend a consultation with Mr. Boyle to explore your options and best course of treatment.

I've had GERD for many years and had been taking dangerous levels of PPIs. Mr Boyle at Reflux UK repaired the hiatus hernia and fitted a LINX device. My symptoms are gone - at long last! Throughout the process, Mr Boyle and his team at Reflux UK were 100% professional, charming, efficient, experienced and faultless in their treatment. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I saw Dr Nick Boyle to investigate long standing breathing difficulties that other consultants had diagnosed as caused by acid reflux. The evidence presented to Mr Boyle from historical procedures appeared to justify immediate surgery. I was keen to proceed asap and get going. Mr Boyle advised caution and to collaborate with a respiratory consultant first as well as fresh investigations relating to reflux. I did not want to see a respiratory consultant as I had been there before when I had been told I had very mild asthma and it was not the cause of my bigger breathing issues. He persuaded me to see Dr Peter George and further tests diagnosed severe asthma was in fact the problem together severe allergies. In short new medication sorted my breathing and I avoided invasive surgery that I had been pressing Dr Boyle to get on with. His intelligence, diligence and collaboration with another consultant in a different discipline saved me having invasive surgery and I am very grateful to him. Nick

This man saved my life! Highly recommend! Mr Nicholas Boyle takes you seriously. Listens and takes action. During August 2021 I started to feel incredibly unwell, constant stomach pains, nausea-and as an avid Masters swimmer averaging 20km per week in the pool and a national age grouper as I child I was finding it difficult to catch my breath in the pool whilst training. I knew this wasnt right. I have private medical insurance and sought out 3 gastroenterologists who after determining from an endoscopy that I had a stomach hernia - dismissed me outright! Saying I should just adjust my lifestyle and take PPIs - Proton Pump Inhibitors to reduce stomach acid. I tried them for a while and I still felt incredibly unwell. I was lucky enough to have Mr Nicholas Boyle and his team recommended. After our initial consultation Mr Boyle listened and took me seriously and ordered various testing. After completing the tests the results showed I had a hiatal hernia and significant acid reflux, severe damage to my oesophagus from stomach acid flowing up from my stomach. Mr Boyle said I was a candidate for Lynx. Unfortunately my medical insurance did not cover the Lynx procedure and Mr Boyle performed Toupet 270 fundoplication procedure. The surgery went well on May 30th 2022. I was walking pretty much immediately after the surgery and then up to 5km a day after 10 days. No swimming for 2 months. The surgery itself was a little hard to recover from the first few days but slowly and surely things became better and better. Maintaining a soft food diet post surgery. I started swimming at 8 weeks. Gentle 1-2km daily for a month and from September 2022 started to apply pressure and power to see what my body could do now my diaphragm was back in the right place and my lungs could open fully to breathe after fixing the hiatal hernia. I am doing extremely well and Mr Boyle literally saved my life. If your quality of life is suffering from stomach hernia/ acid reflux and you are a highly active person. Do not hesitate and only go to the correct specialist that is Mr Nicholas Boyle. I am eating and drinking everything and GERD symptoms have subsided. I am training very well. Cannot recommend this incredible man ENOUGH! Im female and 51. Thank you for giving me my life back!
