I went on a bread making course at The Gift of Bread a couple of days ago, run by the delightful Nelleke and Michael.they are both passionate about the healing properties of their sprouted wheat bread particularly for people with coeliac and gluten intolerance, though this would benefit everyones health - and they have done an amazing amount of research to justify their claims. They are the most engaging and delightful of tutors.I have come away not just with a loaf of freshly baked bread, but the dough to make a further 3 loaves, a sourdough starter and the notes and knowledge to continue my own bread making. Thank you both for a wonderful day.

Went on this breadmaking course recently and my mind was blown with revelation! This bread is actually good for your gut, is easy to make once you know how, contains just 3 ingredients, is low carb and is suitable for those with coeliac and gluten sensitivity. I actually feel really well after switching to this bread. It's the kind of bread made 1000's of years ago, they marched across the globe, fought wars and built roads on this stuff and now I understand how that was possible because it sustains you in a way that supermarket bread could never do. The couple who offer the course are just lovely people and Michael is a powerhouse of positive energy and passion. I highly recommend doing this free (I know! It's free!?) course and doing something amazing for your body and family and your budget!

Educational, Enjoyable and very Edible. Michael is an excellent and interesting instructor who took us through the slightly scary history of modern bread production while teaching us how to make dough and bake bread. Having never baked anything in my life I now bake sourdough for my family every day. Highly recommended.
