A beautiful village Church with stunning architecture and warm and welcoming Rector- Revd Dr Steven Sivyer. I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to have my wedding Ceremony here.

The church externally is of interest and is substantial. The interior however had the appearance of a community hall which detracted from the architecture. The fresh air spray or cleaner used was overpowering and made it uncomfortable for anyone with allergies.

St Mary's at Martham is cathedral-like in its size and interest. It's the largest church around here. Splendid roof timbers with carved angels, medieval stained glass windows and a rare font. No wonder it's listed grade I for it's national importance as a historic building. Open daily, there's a car park, wheelchair access and toilets. Allow plenty of time to view all the interesting things about this big church.
