My dog Dominic died in February 2017 after a couple of monthsI felt the need for another companion. After looking on the internet I found S.O.S. After picking the dog I wanted, I visited the farm, but the one I wanted had already gone. They brought out another dog, a jack russell, who immediately came and sat on my feet. Took her for a walk around the paddock and decided yes. I wanted a small dog as I was getting older and did not want one that was too boisterous. The lady at the farm said she would notify Margaret and make an appointment for a house interview. This was new to me as my last dog came from Danny area! he was eleven weeks old and passed away shortly before his 17th birthday. I was approved and Trixie came to look live with me after spending some time in the kennels. We have been together for over three years now, would not let me out of her sight at first. She has no tongue, which means she dribbles when drinking water. (ruined my carpet) but so lovable. Took well to travelling in a car and being left alone when I had meetings. Loves children and is sociable with other dogs, if the same size, growls if they tower over her. Trixie is a pension dog, and I have only called on that once. Anyone reading this, please adopt a rescue, the are so loveable back to you when they received TLC.
