100000% will recommend for all your work. Amazing customer service, got straight to the point, diagnosed the problems for my bmw 118d convertible roof, priced me up and waited for the go ahead. fixed the problem and contacted me the day it was sorted, even worked around my schedule. Ive taken this car to many mechanics over the past year, no one seemed to find the problem and probably messed it up even more. These guys worked wonders, Special thanks to Peter himself & the team! Will 1000% recommend and be back for any other work.

After weeks of being told, I can't/won't fix that. I found VDV , Tim and Peter are brilliant! I took my BMW to these guys with a failed water pump and oil leak. They diagnosed my car within a few hours and I had my car fixed and back on the road within a week. They did everything within a timely manner, kept in touch with me throughout and also showed me my failed parts and explained what went wrong. Took my newly purchased bmw to Vdv with a possible turbo issue. Peter diagnosed the issue as the turbos and as the car was only 1 month out of warranty. They arranged for a fairly local BMW dealer to look at a good will repair which saved me thousands. Tim and Peter didn't have to do this but did what they could to help. Buy cheap, buy twice! I made the mistake of having my air suspension on my 520d looked at by a non BMW specialist. They gave the impression of knowing what they were doing, but alas, after 4 attempts to fix the problem, and a large bill, I was still left with an unsafe and unrepaired car. I contacted VDV Motor Engineers and described the problem and the persistent error message warning about the chassis. Tim knew immediately what the issue was likely to be and booked me in for a diagnostic review. Peter at VDV confirmed the issue and cracked on with replacing the two air suspension bags and the compressor. Communication throughout was excellent. There was a slight delay with parts coming from Germany, but Tim kept me informed on progress. The quote for the work was accurate. On collection of the car Peter showed me the mess of inferior replacement parts he had stripped off the car from the previous garage's poor attempt at a repair. I've waited a couple of weeks to leave a review to make sure that everything is working properly, given my experience with the other garage. I can now confidently recommend Peter and Tim at VDV Motor Engineers. In fact they have since sorted a minor repair on the car for an unrelated issue. Again communication and service was exemplary. I've learned from my mistake and will from now on be using VDV for my BMW. Service: Steering & suspension repair
