Compstall Post Office

Since Lauren and her new staff have taken over this post office has become my local! Even though I live a few miles away! They are always happy n welcoming, plenty of stock to root thro down to the duck food!! I.would recommend to anyone!!

The post office came under new management a little while ago and what a difference! Its a great little shop and the customer service is brilliant. Its a great amenity to have on your doorstep.

Having recently moved to this beautiful location decided to take a walk to my nearest store. So so friendly & accommodating . Highly recommended if in the area.

This was my previous review: If you want to be greeted with a scowl and great big huffing sigh, treated like an inconvenience and wait whilst the shop owners pay their own bills, discuss shopping and dinner arrangements, and take personal calls on their mobiles whilst serving you, then visit this Post Office. Absolutely disgusting. UPDATE: Since Lauren and her team have taken over this Post Office has done a complete 180! I ignore the two branches nearer to my home and make the pilgrimage to this branch because I am GUARANTEED to be greeted with friendliness, smiles, and great service. Lauren has created a village shop feel combined with the Post Office element. It is cosy and welcoming without being twee. I have nothing bad to say about this business and the staff. Other shop owners should come here and see how its done.
