Shesnaps Photography

I took part in the Shesnaps Camera Confidence Course last weekend, and I foundit to be an incredibly useful experience. It is about 24 years since I last studied photography at art college, and my knowledge was rusty, to say the least. So having recently bought a new camera (Fuji XT3) I felt I really needed more than just a hand book to understand what it could do. There is nothing like first hand advice and guidancewhen it comes to gettingto know a new piece of equipment, and Katherine's one day course was the perfect solution to help me combat all the new dials and settings on my new camera. By the end of the day, I had grasped how to take pictures with a lot more ease and confidence. Katherine explained very clearly which settings to use for a variety of situations and what type of effects can be achieved using different functions of the camera. Like learning to drive a car, it comes with practise, so all I need to do now is get out and use my camera and make use of the advice I've gained. I highly recommend Katherine's course, not only is she very knowledgeable and helpful, she is also a lovely person, extremely friendlyand great fun to spend the day with. I also think her course fees were very good value for money. Her studio is located in an old mill in Compstall, overlooking the beautiful Etherow country park, and is a very pleasant environment to spend the day. If you need help getting to know a new camera, or brushing up on forgotten techniques, then Katherine'scourse will certainly guide you in the right direction. My daughter and her friend had a wonderful photo shoot with some friends for their combined 14th birthday. Katherine was very professional. The girls had a great time and the photographs that we received were beautiful. Well worth it and highly recommended. Thank you Katherine.

What an amazing birthday party for my daughter and her best friend! All the girls that came had an absolute ball! Katherine took some amazing photos. Would highly recommend for a birthday party, it was fabulous!

My daughter had a fabulous dance shoot with Katherine. Katherine put her completely at ease and let her guide the shoot so that she got what she wanted out of it. The resulting photos are beautiful and capture the essence of her dance style. Thank you so much
