Nothing was too much trouble from the first phonecall to the funeral itself... There will never be enough words to express how grateful we are and have more thanks than you could imagine... Wonderful caring family run business. They were used for my Dads funeral last month.The service was so personal and they took great care of my mum and her needs.

Due to personal circumstances, I was alone in making the funeral arrangements for my lovely husband who passed away suddenly. I was deeply upset, overwhelmed and had never arranged a funeral before. I didn't want to mess up, and I wanted to do right by my husband, who wanted a very simple spiritual service. I needn't have worried. Initially I had contact with Brian Sharples out of hours service as it was a Sunday. The gentleman was so lovely and patient. The following day I was contacted by Paul at Brian Sharples in Marple who I then dealt with regarding everything. Paul guided me like the kindest, most comforting friend. Everything Paul said he would do, he did. I was able to ask him anything. No question was deemed silly. Critically, Paul gently and tactfully stopped me from making mistakes - without me even realising at the time that that was what he was doing. He advised me that there was no rush, and to give myself a little time to think about things. I am so so grateful for his wise words, as once I had gotten over the initial shock of my husband's death, I did change my mind about some very important aspects of my husband's service. I strongly feel I would have, in haste, done things or omitted to do things that I would have deeply regretted later. Paul is incredibly special. If ever there is somebody in the perfect role, Paul is that person. He genuinely cares, gets the tone just right, has a deeply comforting aura and I felt totally at ease in his company. He treated both me and my beloved husband with the deepest compassion, respect and the utmost professionalism. I will never ever forget it. Thank you so much Paul and everybody at Brian Sharples.
