        Went for Sunday lunch. The venue was slightly 80s with only around 4 tables booked whilst we were dining. We really didnt mind as the staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was what we made it. The restaurant is within the golf club function room. The food was excellent. The starters were excellent. For mains my wife had roast beef which was perfectly cooked. I had the chicken with dauphinois potatoes. Again it wasnt dry but succulent and complimented well with the cream sauce. My children had pasta from the childrens menu with generous portions. The price of the meal for what we got was outstanding. Midweek they do a set menu of two or three courses for less than 15. Will I go back? Absolutely. Probably one of the best kept secrets in the hospitality trade. Unfortunately for us I cant see it lasting as the word will get round.
