The Marlow Saddler

The first time I used Sally she was good. This second time was an awful experience. I needed some bar reins made as Im a para rider. She said she had time in the week to do the reins so it would be done in a weeks time. A few weeks later I sent a reminder but no I got answer. A week later I sent another reminder but she answered that she didn't have materials to make the bar. I took my own time, money and energy to go into town to source and buy the materials myself and actually drove all the way to her house to drop it off for her. I was really struggling to ride without the proper tack and I expressed this to her. A week later I asked how it was going and she said she had forgotten the design so I had to drive in again to go over it with her again. 6 weeks later she eventually finished one rein and 7 weeks had gone by when she finished the second rein. We hadn't discussed the price at first ( my mistake) and when she told me the price I was absolutely shocked! I discussed with her that I think its very over priced but she didn't budge. I purposely took a week to pay, which really isn't that long I don't think, because I wanted her to feel what its like when someone takes much longer than they said they would take. She messaged, emailed me and called me profusely during that week which I thought was very unprofessional (and seemed a little desperate) especially after taking 7 weeks to finish a job she said would take 1 week. I would definitely not recommend.

Ive had the stitching repaired on several saddles and The Marlow Saddler has done an excellent job. Highly recommend.
