My son (7yrs) loves his drums lessons and looks forward to them every week. James is an experienced teacher (and player) and knows how to motivate my son while being patient with his silliness! :-D

My son's drumming has improved in every way since he started having lessons at Westmount with James. There's a good mixture of working on songs as well as technique and he finds it really enjoyable.

My son's been going for drumming lessons with James for a number of years now. James is an excellent drumming teacher and equally importantly in our case, he understands how to work with people with neurodiversity challenges.

My son is loving his drum lessons, making real progress and he responds well to the mix of on the level chat whilst still getting a proper lesson and respecting the teacher- we didnt have that before and its made a big difference. I love that he is learning to read the music properly too! Good studios, clean, good parking, a great place to learn.
