We were having real trouble finding a bed to meet our particular set of needs - lots of suppliers looked suitable, but the beds they offered couldn't be customised to match just the combination we wanted. We then found OakBeds and spoke to the office a few times and they were very patient and creative coming up with a number of possible solutions to our specific needs and explaining the various options. We visited the workshop and saw that these beds are genuinely made in the UK, and saw the range of options available. In the end we chose the best solution, the bed was made to spec very quickly (for a custom build) and delivered with care by the proprietor himself. Assembly was simple and the whole thing feels very solid, and looks and feels so much better than "off the shelf" beds.. a premium product at a very reasonable price considering it is handmade in the UK and not just bulk imported from overseas. Highly recommended, especially if you need any sort of customisation that's just not possible from other suppliers.
