What an incredible place! From start to finish we were well looked after by the friendly hosts, who did everything they could to make our stay great. The caravans are beautiful and comfortable, the setting exceptional and the fun of managing the fire and cooking on it made this an adventure. We were even given a brace of pheasant from the shoot, which we really enjoyed learning to pluck and prepare before eating. Honestly, this was one of the most fun weekends away we have ever had, and if you're thinking of booking, just do it! You won't be disappointed.

To be honest, I was dreading going away to somewhere like this as I'm not a massive fan of the outdoors but this place proved me completely wrong, it was an amazing experience and everything I could think of was already provided. The caravans were surprisingly warm and cozy and the lodge had everything we needed for a long weekend away, I would definitely recommend this to anybody who wants a relaxing weekend somewhere peaceful and quiet. It was also great for the whole family and we had lots of fun playing some of the games provided for us (badminton, football, croquet etc) in addition to spending nights around the campfire. Will be recommending this to friends and may return another time. 10/10

A gorgeous paradise of a place. Excellent hosts, great facilities (especially the compost loos which are fantastic) and really close to some brilliant days out too. What more could you ask for?!
