One thing we lost when tobacco became a dirty word, and tobacconists were all rounded up and shot, was personal service. Your tobacconist knew you. He knew exactly what you liked, could recommend a new product you might like, and was helpful, courteous, and happy in his work. Making your day made his. We lost that tiny little bit of pleasure in an otherwise nightmarish dystopian existence. However, for the vaping enthusiast, it seems all may not be lost. The little high street vape shop is rapidly becoming the 21st century's tobacconist. at least, that's what you might think after visiting Vape Weighton - coincidentally situated at 48 Market Place, in the town of Market Weighton. In much the same way as the tobacco shop of our grandfathers and fathers, the shelves are festooned with luxury temptations. The furnishing is comforting and nostalgic, despite the technological marvels of coils, mods, batteries, and tanks. Everything is saying quietly 'Stay a while. There's no hurry. Browse. Converse. Explore'. And you sit on the chair that appears almost by magic, and chat, with Tom, the proprietor. Tom knows the town - Market Weighton is a "dessert town". That is, the vaping community prefers sweet treats in its vape juices. Not for them the ersatz Lambert and Butler, or Benson and Hedges replacement therapy. Wicstun demands jam scones, blueberry muffins, apple pie and custard. And through his conversation with you, he has established your requisites. He will recommend, produce samples, and although you arrived with a fuzzy vague notion of your wants, you will leave with exactly what you need. Weighton Vape is a pleasure. Not only is it a wonderful reminder of what shops once were, when we had time to stop, chat, and enjoy a leisurely browse around the well stocked shelving, but it brings that aesthetic into the age of hybrid cars, phones that double as computers, and virtual reality gaming. Nothing is too much trouble, Tom will point out. Want something ordering? No problem. Can't get in to pick up that juice? It will be ready when you are. Not sure what you're looking for? Why not try *this* rather splendid flavour then. I love this shop. I remember with fondness the tobacconist of yesteryear. There was one, only one, shop where I could purchase SanToy Cheroots. I loved them. And they were a treat because I rarely visited the city in which the shop was located. But that place was special. As were the cheroots. Weighton Vape is the closest I can get to my 1985 tobacconist without: going back in time; starting smoking again; being young (sob); and the cheroot company suddenly existing again. If you're in the area, give them a try. If you're flying past on the twelve lane superhighway that connects York and Hull at almost light speed (sarcasm mode *off*) and require a restock of vital components or juice, slip into Market Weighton and check in with Tom. If you're tired of getting foisted rubbish juices from mail order companies with big promises and lousy customer service, go visit Tom. Personal service in this day and age can almost reduce one to tears. Go and experience what our grandfathers took for granted. It's mindblowing.

I visited this shop today a complete virgin about Vaping! I knew absolutely nothing.. I was greeted by a lovely young man, who was both polite & professional & very honest from the start that it was his first day when he had me bombarding him with questions! His boss took over & helped him out, he was so knowledgeable about vaping & to be honest he could have sold me anything but NO he explained everything about the machines, vape juices etc and what would be suitable for my requirements.. He explained everything from the machine to the strength I would require to satisfy my nicotine craving, to how to use it and then WOW what an array of flavours to choose from, they have so many. I chose blackcurrant and liquorice & 3 others. I also bought a bottle of CBD vape juice to try as I'm in chronic pain daily with Fibromyalgia & Pots, which he had some understanding of, which was refreshing. I live in York & Vape Weighton was worth the drive too! Highly recommend this company Thank you
