Having a misshap and losing my right contact lens I was told a replacement lens would not be possible as my prescription was over a year. After a 90 test (discounted as am over 60) and eye check I was told they would let me know when my replacement lens would be available. I picked up my replacement 4 days later and paid an eye watering 178 for it (one lens), no one mentioned to me, when they ordered it, how much this would cost as I would have asked for a much cheaper option. I have been going to Pinders for over 30 years am afraid this has soured our relationship. As I am now retired I will be looking at other / better value options in the future.

Nice people ,eye watering prices.Thought over sixties were entitled to free prescriptions, apparently only on basic prescriptions and sight tests should be free but not here.Wont be going again. Will be going to Specsavers.Feel I have been ripped off should have been told these things before they started testing my eyes.Had I have known would have gone elsewhere.

Had my diabetic eye screening yesterday and Steph was fantastic! She shared a little secret with me to stop my eyes from stinging after the drops and it worked perfectly! No painful sting and lots of useful advice. The best experience of this test I've ever had. Will definitely go back to see her next year!
