McColl's

Appalling customer service. I've made three phone calls over six weeks to cancel my newspaper. They keep delivering, they keep billing and they keep sending overdue notices. They only occasionally answer the phone. On the same level as trying to cancel a Sky subscription. Once, the woman tutted and moaned that she was going to have to go and get the book!

A pleasant change from most newsagents. Not only was the store clean and tidy the variety and levels of stock are fantastic. To top this with attentive and polite staff is so important and this store has nailed that. Fantastic work and the rest of the McColl's stores need to follow what you are doing!

I honestly cant think of a time when I have had to deal with a more unpleasant staff member. Ros. Someone really should send that lady on a customer service course! Both myself and my partner have used McColls to send a parcel, only a few days apart and both times she was rude and abrupt and as unhelpful as possible.
