Katherine Fortnum Ceramics

We commissioned Katherine to make us a pot to celebrate the life of our beautiful cat Susie who we sadly lost last year. Wow wow wow! What a fabulous piece. Collected it today and I burst into tears. It was everything we hoped and more. Katherine put her heart and soul into the piece and it shows. She has captured the essence of Susie perfectly using 15 hand made glazes to replicate her multiple colours. We are truly blown away.

We spent a really enjoyable morning with Katherine who provides relaxed and very knowledgeable guidance into all the possibilities of creating your own work. Thank you, Katherine, for a great time at your pottery workshop. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it to all. Katherine provides good tuition and is always on hand to help and guide you where required. We are very pleased and somewhat surprised, being complete novices, at how well our work looks. We look forward to seeing the final fired pieces. This is truly a great experience.
