Can't believe that they are still trading. Worst ever grooming I have ever seen. Chuffing disgusting and 45 for it.

Fantastic dog groomers, always fantastic with my Westie Millie. All of the girls are brilliant.

My dog has been groomed by Gurrs and Purrs for years with no issues. Since they closed down, we tried the Groom Room. Got a phone call halfway through to tell me my dog was "frantic" and they hadn't been able to groom her properly! I went to pick her up and was told by the extremely patronising "groomer" that " This probably isn't what you want to hear", but she was difficult as soon as she got her on the table and put the drier on, so rather than stopping she had muzzled her!!! I am furious. The dog looks like it's been attacked by a lawnmower! She said she couldn't get near her to clean her ears or trim her nails, so I have a half groomed traumatised dog! As I said, never had any issues with any other groomers, so I would suggest that the problem here was the groomer, not my extremely soft and friendly cockerpoo! She even suggested my dog's behaviour was due to the hot weather. What a load of rubbish, it's an air conditioned shop! To top it all she suggested I bring her back in a couple of days and she could have another go. Needless to say we declined and left! Since going here, my dog has started eating wierdly too, taking one mouthful and sitting down to eat it. Edit: I took my dog to my local village groomer today. She sat beautifully, let her use scissors, razor, a quiet hairdryer and fortunately she was able to tidy her up and undo some of the mess left by The Groom Room. My dog sat beautifully on the table, licking the groomer. We were speaking to someone at Foxton locks last night, who had had the same experience as us, especially with the sitting down to eat.
