Unique Garage Doors

Never returned my call/texts/emails to provide a quote as promised, this was post a visit.

Garage door not working so tried Unique.. a local firm... rang this morning and arranged someone to take a look the same afternoon... got a call from Steve... said he was on his way and 45 mins arrival time... arrived 45 minutes later... !!! Took a look at door... gave me a quote on the spot and said he could fix it straight away... and about an hour later the job was done... door works like new. Highly rate this company for service and friendliness... and at a very fair price too..Steve knows his stuff... top bloke. Many thanks.

When the coil spring on my garage door snapped, the door wouldn't open and my car was stuck inside. My first instinct was to contact the company who installed the doors some 8 years previously, but they proved unhelpful, and after 3 phone calls over 2 days with 3 broken promises to ring me back, I gave up. Searching the net, I spotted Unique Garage Doors and phoned them at 10:00 am the following day. Steve answered the call, asked for the spring part number, and told me he was busy on an installation at that moment, but could be with me in 2 hours. 2 hours later, he was knocking on the door with a spare spring in his hand. The door was opened in 5 minutes to get my car out (the ant-fall locking mechanism was damaged which was why I couldn't open the door manually), and 2 hours later, the door fixed and operational again. The price was significantly less than expected as well. Excellent, efficient and courteous service. Highly recommended. (The company I originally contacted finally called me 2 weeks later and offered a day the following week when they could come out and fix my door - a full 3 weeks after the door first failed!)

Excellent service. Emailed this local firm on New Years Day as my garage door got stuck and wouldnt close. Steve called the following morning and fixed a broken one and serviced another for me. Great job, prompt and efficient service. Highly recommended.
