Beware! My 90 year-old mother has been receiving monthly text messages from these people demanding payment but we had no idea what this was for. I rang them this morning in the hope of discovering who she supposedly owed money to. After some 'gentle' encouragement from me, her phone number has now been removed from their records but I was given no indication why she was being contacted about a non-existent debt in the first place; no explanation, no apology!

The same horrible experience that day, he came to my door to ask me about the debt at my previous address. My roommate didn't realize the shamelessness of the debt collection company and let him in, which led to the beginning of the nightmare... I explained for the umpteenth time that I was a student and that even if I had to pay the refunded money I would only pay council tax, not them. He just refused to leave and threatened anyone who was near him that he could take things from my house if he had to. I immediately called council tax to expedite student identification for all the places I have lived in including my current residence, and they stopped harassing me. But yesterday afternoon, they shamelessly called and told me they wanted money again, a huge amount. Do they really have a conscience? Asking students to pay money they shouldn't? The most shameless person.

I had these guy's visit today which left me devastated and hysterical. I got paid on the last day of the month so March 31st. They wanted paying on the 30th. I forgot due to the weekend (and hadn't edited the standing order from my previous pay day of 28th of the month) so I paid on the 4th, only four day's late. They sent the bailiffs this morning. I showed them my bank balance, zero, and said I don't get paid for two weeks. They showed no remorse or empathy and looked into taking my car which is fortunately a company car through work so they couldn't touch it. They also showed me text and emails which I didn't receive. My remaining balance was only 207.10 with 5 payments left and I was up to date. They made me pay 392.10 in full despite me trying to find a compromise in person and when I rang the office to explain. I was told I should have updated my standing order and not paid late. They added 185 in charges. A fair punishment to match the "crime"? In their world, yes. I had to miss work today because of the effect this had on me but luckily my boss is understanding. Add the embarrassment that they did all of this infront of the neighbour's and I had to ask them twice to keep their voice down. I hope there's a legal loophole somewhere to put a stop to this company.

Recieved an email to say they would accept monthly payments i paid first payment on time recieved a receipt of payment bailiff comes to my house and gives me 7 days?? I calls office they said even though emailed me i should have called the office ? Balance was increased from 279 to 466!!!!even though i have paid monthly amount....there is a cost of living crisis and this is how this company works!!! Disgusting and person on the end of the phone has no empathy at all not interested that i had paid
