Upfront - I passed first time learning with Tom! Hes been the best teacher, and I was with another instructor for a while. Tom has such a great style - super informative, his advice and tips have been fantastic, and passed on to the drivers in my family (theyve also found it helpful despite having years of driving experience). I do have a tendency to be a bit panicky, and Toms calm guidance has taught me without making me feel like I was a failure for not getting it first time, and has made me feel calmer and more assured driving. I do think hes the best instructor in the area, and would wholeheartedly recommend CDT to anyone!

Learning to drive has been a long haul for me with a couple of failed attempts and super low confidence. Learning with Tom has been a completely different experience than before. He explains things super clearly, nurtures and builds confidence, and has transformed my relationship with driving. He has been incredibly patient and I passed first time since learning with him! Definitely the best instructor I have ever had (there have been a few!!) and I highly recommend him.

Tom has been an absolutely fantastic driving instructor! Always incredibly calm which is such a valuable trait for any driving instructor to have, especially in the early days of starting to learn how to drive. He's a fantastic teacher, giving clear and honest advice at every point and I have no doubt you'll quickly see yourself progress your driving ability under his wing! He is the perfect balance of kindness but also critical enough to bring the very best out of your driving ability. The lessons are the perfect length in order to really learn and develop your skills each and every time. On top of this Tom is an absolute legend to speak to, very sociable and friendly and will make anyone feel welcome and comfortable whilst learning with him! Thank you for all your lessons and support Tom, it's been a blast and I've loved it! I hope to see you on the roads at some point!
