Lovely place, with good food. We have been quite a few times before but are last visit was a little bit of a let down due to the seating. We were placed in a booth by the door. It sounds cosy but sadly there wasnt a single cushion on the bench, you cant move the table which meant you had to sit at the edge of the bench slumped to eat your food. Great if your boozing. All it needs is a bit of a winder table, the restaurant is good and has a lovely menu that changes regularly. Just try to avoid the booth seating.

We were super excited to come here for my birthday as the online menu sounded incredible! We wanted to love this place but unfortunately, the food we ate wasn't at the same standard as imagined. The food was bland and overpriced. Frustrating, as there's lots of great tastes on the menu. The expensive duck we had was dry, and the hoisin gravy it came in was watery. We love desserts, but actually skipped it here. The options from the online menu we'd visited for had been removed, and instead were quite basic. The place itself was nice and staff were lovely, but our night was tainted by the overall experience of the disappointing food. Reply to response: We saw the Reeses peanut butter cheesecake dessert which is still live on your website set price menu - but not to be found on that menu when visiting

The customer service and communication at this place is pretty appalling. Had a table booked for April 8th at 7.45pm for outdoor dining, had it booked for over 8 weeks in advance as it was for a friend's bachalorette celebration (which was on the booking notes). I then got an email 1 week before cancelling my reservation as they aren't serving food that weekend as its jazz fest. Totally understand that, firstly have the organisational skills to plan more than a week ahead for probably the busiest weekend of the year in nantwich, secondly have the decency to call your clients to inform them of the cancellation. In addition I was already feeling concerned about the booking as had called and left voicemails twice which never got a response and emailed to ask if it was OK to bring decorations. Even popped in one lunchtime the door was open, waited for 10 mins and shouted excuse me and no response jo one around. Please try and have better customer care and communication skills than a potato in future. Thanks
