WOW! We stayed in Kovva which is the smallest cottage/apartment but it had everything we needed and more! The bed was huge and comfortable, under floor heating, massive smart TV with every app and had a DVD player, fluffy towels, walk in shower, welcome gifts honestly this is a hidden gem! Excellent service from Rowan throughout. The place was spotless. You would think its brand new but opened in 2018. We cant thank the family enough (and whoever does the cleaning) honestly absolutely AMAZING!!!

We stayed in Stargazey for 5 nights for our mini moon. The Blewetts, particularly Rowan, have been awesome since the minute we booked (and then rebooked as we had to postpone due to a bereavement). The communication has been top tier, and we had such a warm welcome from Rowan when we arrived. Thank you! Stargazey is a beautiful self contained cottage full of pure luxury. We walked in to rose petals on the bed and a personalised note. We wanted for nothing - it has everything you need for a relaxing, care free, and comfortable stay. The copper spa bath was a real treat. Jumping in every evening felt like being in a fancy spa, especially with all the beautiful mood lighting too. Even the walk in shower was pure luxury with the black sparkly tiles, rainfall shower head and heated towel rail. The kitchen made us green with envy as it was so beautiful - weve taken notes for when we re-do ours! Oh and I have to mention the heated floor - so underrated as a feature it just felt so cosy walking on the warm floor! I cant get over the view. Its epic. Rolling countryside, and views of the sea, and the greenest grass and bluest skies Ive seen since I was in New Zealand in 2018. The weather was windy and rainy, but with some sunny spells, and watching all the different seasons pass by whilst we were cosy inside was wonderful. We rarely left the cottage as one of our favourite pastimes was just staring at the view with coffee and biscuits, but we ventured into town which was only 8 mins drive away a couple of times to pick up supplies. You get your own designated parking space which feels very VIP! I enjoyed a massage in the on-site pamper room with Sandra who was wonderful. It was exactly what I needed and I left floating on a cloud. My husband would ideally just like to live here, and since he hates travelling and new places this is incredibly high praise indeed! As we cant move in and loved it so much, weve decided to scrap our plans for an abroad honeymoon in Spain with a longer stay at Wooldown. See you in April/May 2023!
