        I had a wonderful time at the Break Bar, a cosy and relaxed restaurant on the beach at Widemouth Bay. The food was delicious, especially the seafood and the chargrilled steaks, and the cocktails were amazing. The service was friendly and attentive, and the views of the sunset and the stars were stunning. I loved the private access to the beach from the garden, where I could enjoy a walk after dinner. This is one of the best beachside bars and restaurants in the UK, and I cant wait to go back there again.

        It's tucked away behind other buildings, a little hard to find and not well signposted. But worth the effort, as it is set practically on the beach and has an uninterrupted view of the Atlantic. Service was a little slow, but the food was delicious, with lots of fresh local fish. Eclectic decor with a distinctly homespun feel.
