From start to finish we found our visit a disappointing experience. There was no welcoming customer service on arrival, in fact we were given a hostile look by one of the staff. After we ordered our simple pots of tea, with no one else waiting and also paying, it was 40 minutes before we received our tea - This seemed to be only delivered after we popped back into a virtually empty cafe to remind the staff that we were still waiting, we noted that a couple who had just arrived immediately after we complained received their order within a few minutes. Please also note that the tea pots were dirty. Such a shame as its a beautiful nursery in delightful location with fair plant prices.

I stopped here for a light bite and tea. It was quite busy and the staff were a little overstretched. I ordered a cherry pie for my wife and an apple and toffee crumble for myself plus tea for two. Unfortunately, the cherry pie was only like warm and had tinned cherries. I didn't get what I ordered, I got an apple pie, which was also like warm. Long wait, but they were busy. Considering what we got, I thought it was far too expensive. That little lot (a long wait, and not getting what I ordered) cost me a little under 14.00. Sorry, despite the staff being nice and friendly, we will not be returning

So many good caf reviews - really ?! We were the only customers mid-afternoon and were treated like we were intruding. No welcome, nor a smile to be had anywhere. A very basic toasted cheese & onion sandwich on obviously cheap bread was 6.95. (It was worth half that at best). And it arrived over 5 minutes after my partner's egg on toast. What - do they only have one toaster ?! The two coffees were ok, but when I asked for mine to be served at the same time as the food it was like I'd asked for it to be served on the moon ! Jeeeeeez, value & customer service obviously not in their policy book. We won't be back.
