Disappointing. Beautiful place but the fisheries obvious not that important to the owner. Fish are stocked but are weak and put up little fight and seems like they are stocking less and less fish. If someone has fished before you forget it as the stocked fish are extremely skittish and are in the middle of the pond. Once youve landed them theyre basically dead. Dont think there are any browns as well. Met the owner once and they were rude and annoyed that I didnt read the tiny sign on the corner of a building and didnt seem bothered in answering my questions. My father remembers when they used to breed the trout on site in the small pools and the fishing used to be great. Now its slowly going into disrepair and getting worse every time I go there. Place is always open even though you wont know as theres no one there, which is helpful if you dont know what you are doing. Can only one fish side of the pond if not on a boat and some of the docks arent great. Dont agree with the pricing as well seeing as most times you wont catch a lot, would be better with set price just for entry but fish are too weak to be released. Would be a great place if run properly a real shame that it isnt, hopefully things will change soon.

Enjoyed a very pleasant 3 hours fishing on a 2 fish ticket at this well-stocked lake.. Caught a brace of fine quality rainbow trout, the biggest at 3ibs. It was really special to fish in such a quiet location. Will definitely return. Alan Peck
