Fantastic back to basics adult campsite ideal for rutland water . Spotlessly clean nice and quiet and friendly owner.plenty of wildlife and spent time watching red kites . You'll need your own facilities which suited us

What a lovely, peaceful site, on a slight slope, kept in immaculate condition with grass mown and clippings collected, areas of long grass for wildlife and the pitches are spaced well apart. Loved sitting in the viewing platform on a couple of evenings. Booked over the phone with Brian who couldnt have been more helpful and friendly, and received a warm welcome on site by his son, who gave me an information book on Rutland and some local info too. Straight out of the site onto the cycle route to go round the water, also lots of lovely nearby villages to cycle to on quiet country lanes. Adult only site (Hurrah!!), no loos or showers but I never use on site facilities anyway. Thank you for a lovely 5 nights, I will most definitely be back.
