I had been in negotiations the day before (14/04/23) and was informed at 4.30pm that day that the car had been priced wrong and would be going up by 1000 the next day unless I bought it there and then without either seeing it or test driving the car. The price was then changed on the Autotrader site that night to a price 1000 higher. Not the best way to sell a car or gain trust and I feel that the car was never going to be sold to me especially at the previously agreed price. When challenged it was confirmed that it had sold to someone who walked into the dealership that morning. I assume this was at the new 1000 higher price. No surprise then that they didn't want to honour my appointment based on the previous price and the price the car had been for the previous 7 days.
Disgusting way to treat a potential customer. Jason and Toby need some retraining with regards to customer service and etiquette. Very amateur and blatant disregard for prior arrangements. Obviously getting a sale is the most important thing and not customer satisfaction.
I will go elsewhere and hopefully others will too. I would rather deal with people who I can trust.
