Went to the Nags Head last night (28/04/23) and the lady on the bar was the rudest barmaid ive ever come across. So unwelcoming and aggressive. She refused to serve me and my boyfriend even though we were not intoxicated as she put it (the bouncers agreed after getting my boyfriend to walk in a straight line). It felt like she just didnt want us in there for some strange reason. As a barmaid myself, I am aware how drunk people need to be cut off straight away but we were not drunk. Even if we were drunk, she could have refused more drinks in a more polite way. She was rude and I will never go back! Get yourself to new cross pub who had no problem serving us after we had to leave the nags head. Millie Smith.

Large pub in Sutton Town centre, generally relatively busy. Good for watching sports, card bingo etc. Good atmosphere frequented by all age ranges, leaning towards the slightly older during the week. Reasonable prices as part of the Craft Union Group. Recommended as part of the few pubs now open in town!
