Normally the service is really good here Neil is great and the young girl is lovely on reception. The lady that is normally in the lab again is lovely and fixed a vision issue with my glasses I had elsewhere. Ive decided to try contacts again after a couple of years of wearing glasses, so called up when I had the text through to say they were in. Jordan I believe he said his name was when he answered who sounded a little off on the phone when I booked the appointment. I was early getting into town. As I had other business there and had been wandering around to kill time so popped in to see if it would be possible to get in earlier. I was 40 minutes early. I was met by Jordan. There were no customers in the shop. I asked if I could be seen earlier and he said no we dont do that if youve booked.I said its just you dont look very busy. He said well theres Other appointments and staff on lunch Maybe if he would have said Im really sorry but they are on lunch, youre welcome to come and wait and we will be with you as soon as we can !! But no ,so wandered around again and went back and stood 5 minutes for him to come to me . Jordan came over and took me to put lenses in. I wore them for 5 years and found it easier to use a bit of solution when putting new ones in so asked if I could have some solution. He asked what do you mean., I said i find it easier to use solution to help put them in, He said I dont know what you mean !!! Im sure he knows what solution is being as he works in an opticians. Then proceeded to tell me theres some in the lenses packet. I tried to explain.but he was just antagonising me. I went a walk round in them and came back to catch him talking about me to a colleague. I went to sit down then saw him telling the young girl about me too. I saw her say who , then she tip toes to look over the computer to look straight at me.He doesnt know how to speak to people and shouldnt be customer facing. He tries to make you look stupid. You can see it when he looks at you when hes talking. I didnt realise using a bit of solution to help put lenses in was a massive ask. Maybe if he had explained why its not a good idea to do that if it was wrong ??? Its a shame because its a nice opticians. I wont deal with him again when I go in.
