Travelled there to take a lady home it looked clean and the lady was happy to be there

When I worked at Willow tree house. The care staff were brilliant. Manager and deputy manager at the time were rude and harsh. Not approachable or easy to talk to. Not passing important information to staff Some issues with staff, some rectified some not. At the time when I was there the working environment was difficult. Made more difficult due to measures back then and aswell . Residents were absolutely amazing.

I have been working at Willow Tree for 7 years. And they are a good years. Working with honestly great people and looking after amazing service users, which wouldn't change them for anything. Putting heart into this job.. which is not just a "job" but so much more.

While the facility itself is nice and gives a good first impression and some staff seem kind and caring this seems to be down to the individual as the management is extremley poor leading to in my direct experience poor care of residents and poor communication , when issues are raised its quite clear that staff and management are prepared to lie to cover their own failings and mistakes . The latest CQC report confirms my worst fears and more please anyone considering leaving a relative in their 'care' read that before making any decisions.

I've not got personal experience of living here, but my great grandmother is just moving in and it seems like a nice place, the staff are friendly. The place is clean and fairly modern looking too. CQC has rated this property as good, meaning that Willow Tree House Care Home is performing well and meeting their expectations - a good sign!
