Forest Manor Nursing Home

My Mum was evicted from this home last year because I emailed the owner 5 times in 4 months requesting one window visit a week, home lied to national newspapers saying the building did not lend itself to window visits yet at the very beginning of lockdown I had 2 very safe window visits, photos included to prove this, they claimed I demanded lock down to be over which is just ridiculous as I work in care myself, apart from the manager, Team Leader and Owner the rest of the staff were lovely and did look after my Mum well

Never got to say goodbye to my dad, Never got any kind of visitation even though it was abundantly clear he was not going to last long but they could not tell so I was just denied everything but these cruel window visits. he could barely open his eyes or turn his head, what a joke trying to speak to him like that. I tried telling them he is end of life but they just refused to agree and made a promise that when they "Deem" him "End of life" they would allow for a real visit, but that never happened un-till 20 minutes before he passed. and I never got to see him before he did. A very traumatic experience with this place.

Sadly my Mother Miska passed away recently, prior to her death, she was a resident at Forest Manor. I can't praise Janice and her wonderful staff enough, they cared for her like one of their own family!. Forest Manor is like a big family, and everyone is made welcome. I was never worried zbout leaving Mum, as I knew she was in the best of hands. Thankyou to everyone, you are all wonderful! Regards Julie x

Both my mum and dad were in forest manor . Its not the poshest of homes but the care is outstanding from cleaners to nurses .mum was only there a short time but dad was there a year and a half. Everyone was amazing with them both thank you to each and every one xxx
