This is the worse doctors surgery l have ever used, should a learnt from the first time round. They say they don't open till 8.30 but you seem to be number 14 in the queue wouldn't rate them to anyone

The booking system is not fit for purpose! Almost impossible to get a appointment unless you have an hour to wait for someone to answer the phone . On a more positive note ,the receptionist was ,polite and friendly .p.s I spoke with the receptionist explaining the history of family cancer, I reported concerning lumps and the fact I am bleeding from places I shouldn't be. The receptionist promised a phone call from a doctor. That obviously never happened . Pathetic and incompatant .

The reception staff are always super friendly and efficient, very sweet and caring. The nurses are amazing, truly amazing, efficient, professional, and so friendly. But. The doctor changed my medicine, and said, if it doesn't work to "just call" to go back on my old prescription. Apparently no, I have to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT again. And the first open slot is for two weeks from now. An appointment means more time from work. Ive already taken time off for my medical review, was called back for blood tests, and then called back for a medicine review. Im also being tested, and monitored at the hospital, so I've had three appointments there already and have two more coming up in April. Each time I have to take off work, and there are costs getting to the doctor/hospital. My employer is getting irritated and I'm scared it'll affect my employment. I asked for a telephonic consultation and somehow that got recorded as me not wanting an appointment at all. Now I do have an appointment and hope its telephonic. Meantime I'm stuck on something that doesn't work and the side effects actually make me really uncomfortable. Its frustrating being unable to get what DOES work easily despite being told to "just call". And my only other option is to call in EVERY day at 08h30. It took me an hour of holding to get through today. I've called every day since last week Wednesday, and one day I was number 6 in line. After finally getting through, we got cut off so I had to call back and was number 7 in the line, finally got through, to be told to call tomorrow. Its not the receptionist fault, they're working so hard, and trying to see patients AND answer calls. I wish I understood why I need an appointment to assert my right to revert to my original prescription, which I was very happy with and which worked? Meantime that appointment is not available to someone who is maybe actually ill. So I applaud these amazing ladies at the desk, and love the nurses, and though I seldom see a doctor they seem nice. But all this time I have to take from work is hurting my employment. But this is just one thing I have issues with, and I refuse to judge the PEOPLE there, who are amazing, by this one thing. So, weird as the review sounds, they are great. Maybe the system needs a reset
