Mansfield Vaccination Centre

Made an appointment for 11;15 this morning, to fit in with my working day. When I turned up for it 5 minutes before my appointed time I realised the queue (which was out into the car park) was going to be far more than 5 minutes I had allowed for - I asked if this as the walk-in queue, as I had an appointment , and was told No, this is the appointment queue, we are running over an hour behind because of 'technical issues" earlier this morning ! If the technical issues were "earlier this morning" why on earth aren't you contacting people and letting them know there appointment time has changed ?? I was then told that I could turn up later today and that my appointment would still stand - how does that work then ? Won't I just be trying to get into another appointment slot that is already taken ?? Update Went back at 3pm, expecting the worst, but just walked straight in to 2nd place in the queue, and everything ran smoothly - done and dusted by 3:43 ! I would still reiterate my earlier point though - if there a big delays, why aren't people informed before they travel for an appointment ?

Had several text messages to get booster, after queuing for over an hour, told I have to provide evidence from hospital booking to get jab from a doctor to prove it, I said its in my NHS notes and your system should tell you if I'm not eligible. No waste of time, very slow like the first jab I had there.

Excellent centre very efficient and friendly staff, both my husband and I have had all our vaccines done here booster today.

Excellent center clean and we'll laid out. Staff were super helpful and a big personal thank you to the staff member who replied to my original question
