I have used Astra carpet for a few times in the past and always been happy with the work. Unfortunately the carpet that they have just laid isnt fit for purpose and it was recommended by Astra themselves, also they charged for double the amount of underlay that was used, i did query the amount of underlay on the quote but was told it was needed. On the day of fitting i noticed that just over half of one roll of underlay was used and we had been charged for more than one roll. I contacted Astra as soon as the carpet was laid and told them of the issues and was promised a call back, no call so chased again the promise of a call back and again no call back this went on for over 6 weeks and then i received a letter saying theres nothing wrong with the carpet its meant to look like that and they dont re price the job even if they dont use everything charged for. Im not sure how they can charge for things that arent used. This could have been sorted out with an apology and some understanding of the issues but neither have been offered. There has been no customer service at all it feels like we have your money and we now dont care. I will never use them again and can only recommend that you use someone else. Having got nowhere with Astra and owner it is now been taken further and i will update the review with the outcome at a later date.

Have been using this company for 20 years. Have always found them to be really competitive on prices and friendly to deal with. First class service...
