281 Restaurant and Rooms

Very disappointed in our visit. The website for this hotel is totally misleading. It doesn't have a restaurant and the bar was only open on the second night. The breakfast is very limited and it seems the very sparse dining room is shared by the staff cooking their own breakfast. A member of the staff who on occasion was in reception was wearing a baseball cap, and the staff seemed to be in very casual clothes. The room was however very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The location was ideal for our visit and fortunately there was a very good pub nearby...thankfully serving very good food. I don't recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Rooms: Rooms were clean and beds comfortable with a desk and all we needed. Nearby activities: Walking distance from town. Safety: Safe and quiet. Walkability: Walking distance. Food & drinks: Good breakfast in large dining room. Noteworthy details: n/a
