Bought car in October with every extra possible, warranty, gap insurance etc. After 2 months my headlight went out. I had the bulb replaced and fuse checked, nothing. Rang Ford who told me that I'd need to take it to Mercedes. I passed on that Mercedes have said the headlight has completely failed, condensation has now ruined the inside and needs to be replaced. Then Ford decide they do actually want to look at it.. I've now been waiting for months and every time I call I am either told it'll be a few weeks or someone will call me back.. I have no choice but to use my car for work and I'm driving with an illegal headlight. Ford know this and seem to be happy to let me carry on. If they gave me a road legal courtesy car at their expense maybe that would have sped up the process? I've paid for the car to be checked my Mercedes and I had to pay for the courtesy car insurance when Ford looked at my car - 2 expenses which I don't even believe I'm responsible for as I shouldn't be having this issue after 2 months. I've been polite and civil throughout the whole process and now it's becoming an absolute joke. The sales process with Mitchell was excellent and before now I'd have definitely gone back to Ford for my next car.. unless Ford rectify this soon then I'll never be back unfortunately.
