Wonderful dance school, feels like a family, very supportive. Principal constantly giving up time for extra curricular activities outside of the dance school lessons. Very caring and nurturing environment. Would highly recommend.

I DEFINITELY do not recommend. Mrs. Caroline is focused only on money not on children. In addition, after each lesson you have to wait about 15 to 30 minutes because children finish long after the scheduled finishing time. No apologies which is disrespectful of someone's time. It also happened 2 times that the child left the school without the teacher's attention. She also did not inform about the canceled classes and the fact that the starting time is changing.

The Christine March School of Dance is a truly magical place. My daughter currently attends for lessons ranging from ballet, tap and modern, all the way through to drama and singing. Mrs Lane is an inspirational dance teacher. Not only is her choreography so creative, but there is also a wide range of specialist teachers involved to provide students with such a wide variety of subjects. Mrs Lane is an exceptionally kind and supportive teacher, who cares about the needs and well-being of each and every student in her care. She has the magical ability to nurture each child to be the best they can be and celebrates the success of all, from the newest and most anxious 3 year old just deciding to start their dance journey, through to supporting the senior students with experiences to enhance their potential careers in dance and musical theatre. There is even an adults class, which welcomes members of all abilities to just come along and give it a try. In the 6 years my daughter has been attending this dance school she has grown in confidence, improved her coordination and creativity, but more importantly, she has made friends for life. She has had the most amazing opportunities, ranging from annual dance shows and examinations, through to dance auditions leading to performances in a local pantomime this year. Mrs Lane goes out of her way to organise so many special and fun events for the children, with the annual Christmas disco party being a highlight of our social calendar. Christine March School of dance is also a really important part of the local community. We have performed at residential care homes to promote happiness and well-being for the residents, through the Kirkby Christmas Light Switch On event. I travel a fair distance to send my daughter to this dance school, as I just cannot ever imagine going anywhere else. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Christine March School of Dance community. If you are ever considering a dance school for your children, I cannot recommend this enough. A happy and inclusive dance school that nurtures each and every child to feel safe, welcomed and to be the best they can be.
