Very poor service. The slowest place ever visited people not helpful at all need happier staff for a start might help

Stood in here today for 15 minutes waiting to be served. There were only 2 other people who were together in the store and they were being served. There were 5 counter employees doing nothing other than holding conversations between themselves who completely ignored us. Eventually gave up and walked out. What an absolutely diabolical customer service ethos. Don't suppose it occured to those 5 that it is us who pay their wages. It is also indicative of the standards of the owners and managers. Customer service starts at the top but not at Jackson Building Centres.

Served fast, even being asked "can I help?" I placed my order and was told that particular size isn't in stock but suggested an alternative and this turned out to be cheaper than the sawmill I'd been to previously. This is the second time I've used Jackson's due to being let down elsewhere, they will be my 'go to' from now on. Helpful staff, prices are as expected. Worth a visit.
