The actual kit itself was something of a mixed experience. I purchased the Hubi 750 power station, with the aim of powering my garden shed 'off-grid' for lighting and light-duty power. In this it has so far been successful. However the kit arrives with no real instructions as to how to assemble and connect it all. I am a retired electrician so had a pretty good idea what was required, but I would not recommend these kits for people with no electrical experience. The main storage battery is very heavy and requires installing 'on-site', which surprised me as it sits inside the main enclosure. The casing had three screws missing which I found in a plastic bag attached to it, and they could not be fitted due to some sort of problem with the threads. I re-threaded them which cured one but the other two still did not fit. No big deal as it is on the floor in my shed, but still annoying.
Beware - this power station when fully assembled is VERY HEAVY and really difficult to lift on your own. It is unsuitable for anything other than floor mounting unless you have a very sturdy and strong frame. Service: Electrical
